NEW UPDATE October--9-04-09
Hello Friends and Family--Tony will be in Texas
this week hoping to get some good news on
different treatments he may qualify for. The
insurance is still denying charges and is unwilling
to pay for what the doctors were recommending.
We should get some new information this week on
what he might be able to try!! Keep praying and
sending Tony comments on his blog. They really
mean a lot to him and they do help keep his spirits
up and remind him of how many lives he has
touched!!

Last update from September: Unfortunately Tony
has some bad new this time around. Tony's
cancer has grown enough to kick him out of the
study down in Texas. They have also found a
small tumor on his spine. The doctors would like
him to try a new medication used in the fight
against brain cancer (he does not have this) they
think it might help. The real bad news is this
medication cost $7000.00 every two weeks, and so
far the insurance company is denying the charge.
Carla continues the battle with the insurance
companies to get this medication approved but so
far no luck. If you have any tips in helping with this

Well the new baby is here--Michael Alexander
Fontes. He is in the NICU at the hospital for
fluid in his lungs but he is expected to be out
soon. Congratulations Nicci and Frank on
your second son!
